Do you wake up early? Waking up early in the morning is not for everyone, but if you want to be successful, I highly recommend it. There are many benefits to getting up early and beginning your day before life starts making demands on your time.

Here are a few benefits to waking up early:

  • You get some quiet time to yourself before everyone else wakes up and life starts making demands on your time
  • Your productivity and energy levels are higher when you get up early as opposed to oversleeping and waking up later
  • Provides more time to think, plan, and do
  • Provides time to exercise
  • Early to bed and early to rise puts your body in a better rhythm and will reduce the tired, lazy, puffy eyes look of oversleeping
  • Lowers your stress levels without the need to rush and get things done
  • You get to listen to nature and watch the sunrise
  • You can greet your family members when they wake up and you have already accomplished a majority of your morning routine or tasks

Waking up early is actually easy to do once you establish the routine of getting up when the alarm goes off, smiling, saying thank you for another day, and jumping right out of bed.

I always say, if you are not ready to get out of bed then go back to bed because you are not ready for the day. But, if you intentionally plan your day, wake up with a purpose, and are truly thankful for every opportunity, you will find it easier to get out of bed.

The moment you discover your passion or your why in life, you might actually get up and out of bed earlier because why you do something will motivate you.
